Terrestrial Boas
Today the menagerie consists of various boas, such as Central American, Nicaraguan, and insular Boa imperator. We also work with some of the larger boas such as the South Brazilian Boas (Boa constrictor amarali)Â and Suriname BCCÂ (Boa c. constrictor).
Arboreal Boas
However, on the arboreal side of boas, we’re working with a group of Amazon Tree Boas (Corallus hortulanus) and Emerald Tree Boas (Corallus caninus).
Colubrid Snakes
Finally, we also work with a select group of Asian colubrid snakes such as Yunnan Mountain Rats (Oreocryptophis porphyraceus pulcher), Thai Red Mountain Rat Snake (Oreocryptophis Porphyraceus Coxi), and others.
Pythons
In addition to terrestrial and arboreal boas, we also have a select few python’s species. One notable favorite is the Timor Python (Malayopython timoriensis), a project that has been many years in the making.
